Service Provider Solutions for Consumers
Telecommunications companies, Service Providers and ISPs that provide broadband and internet access services to home-user and residential customers can now protect their customer’s data, applications and valuable bandwidth, by offering them one of McAfee’s proven internet and anti-malware security solutions as a revenue generating, value added subscription service. These solutions have been designed to be easily provisioned by Service Providers to their residential customers, providing automated, always-on, simple-to-use but powerful security protection for all home owner/ consumer PC security needs. Hosted by McAfee, the chosen solution may be co-branded by the Service Provider, and downloaded by the customer directly from McAfee via a customized URL which is provided to the end-user by the Service Provider or ISP.
McAfee understands that the requirements of Service Providers are not all alike, and that it is important to provide Service Providers flexibility in the level of protection that they may wish to offer their customers. Consequently, McAfee provides Service Providers with a range of security solutions from which they may offer customers the most appropriate PC Security solution to fulfil a particular market requirement. In addition, all of these solutions can be provided by the Service Provider to their customers under a monthly billing scheme, so that the subscription charge can be added to a customer's existing monthly broadband bill.
